The walls and ceiling continue to crumble away, but neither of you
notice this until a giant chunk of the ceiling crashes on top of you
both. Matt and you both roar out in pain.
You both just glare at each other for a few moments; neither of you
had the energy or the will to keep fighting a hopeless battle. You
finally break your stare of Matt to notice that your fight had cause
part of the ceiling to cave in. The stairs were completely covered in
rubble.
Matt was the first to speak, "Great! If you had just listen to me, we
would already be out of here."
"I told you already we're in a DUNGEON! If you hadn't...AWWWWW...This
is pointless to argue about anymore." You take a deep breathe; desperately trying to take control of your anger. "Look Matt, we are
stuck with each other for the time being. We both need to work as a
team if we're going to get out of here....We're best friends; we
shouldn't be arguing like this."
Matt looked away for a moment. You could feel him taking a big
breathe, just like you did. "Your right Gideon. We have been acting
foolish. Truce."
"Truce." You reply.
"I guess we need to find another way out of here." Matt said while
turning his head left and right, looking for another route.
Suddenly, both of you hear a pounding on the far wall. You and Matt
walk a little closer when, BOOOOOM! The wall was pushed inward. As the
dust settled, you see another dragon standing in the opening, it's
Hector.
"Someone need a rescue!" He bellowed.
