Scott and Max continued to argue for a few more minutes after Ethan
and Scott had left. Finally Max said, "Dad, this just isn't working
out. We were better off being attached at the chest."
"You know son, I think your right." Scott replied as he grabbed the
zipper for the suit. The way their body was conjoined allowed for the
zipper to be right under his neck.
Scott quickly pulled the zipper down, and both could feel the suit
separate from them and reshape into the form it was originally in.
Their body however, did not.
"Uh...dad, what's going on? Please tell me that you haven't unzipped
the suit." Max turned to look at his dad. Max's eyes were full of
dread.
Scott quickly zipped the suit back up and then back down, but still
their body did not change back. "Max...I think we might have a
problem."
"Great! It looks like my idea did make things worse. Apparantly the
suit can't undo a conjoinment that has already been done." Max
replied, looking down at the ground.
"Hey cheer up, son. There was no way you could have known that. Lets
go check up on Ethan and Mark. It shouldn't have taken them that long
to get a shirt." Scott said as he took a step toward the stairs.
But before they could take another step...
