When she says "The choice is yours." you look at her as though she's not even from this world, or at least you try. You're not entirely sure how a wolf conveys that sort of thing. Luckily she seems to catch on because she smirks slightly. She spreads some butter on a slice of bread and begins eating as she sits down at the table.
"Don't look at me like that," she says around a mouthful of bread "you'd be surprised how many people who get this far choose to be a wolf. I try to explain that it will be more complicated then they seem to think, but by then they're barely even listening to you." she says and smiles at you. "Don't get too smug for your choice, boy, because your is about to get more difficult then it's ever been, but let's talk about that later. First, though, why don't you turn yourself back into a human?" She says. You just stare at her while she bites into her piece of bread. After a moment or two she looks at you expectantly. You try to give her the "Are you joking" look again and she rolls her eyes.
"It's not hard. You've been a human your entire life. If you concentrate you'll be able to feel that form somewhere in your mind. You just have to focus on it. It's a bit like flexing a muscle, it's just a muscle you didn't know you had." she says. With nothing left to loose, you concentrate. After a little while you can sort of feel the outline of your human form. You focus on the form and you feel as though your body was being slightly tugged at from the outside. You let your paws grow into hands and human feet. Your legs thicken and extend. You try to stand up on two legs and find that as you do your bones shift and your center of gravity relocate to allow a human stance. Your forelegs grow out into arms and your trunk fills out. Lastly your muzzle shrinks, your nose lengthens and within a short order you find yourself back to your good old, unwashed, human self. Mostly.
"Forget something?" the woman asks. Your tail wags in confusion. Then you catch on. "Not bad for a first-timer." she says circling you "You've almost got everything right." she says and with a wave of her hand your tail disappears. "That's the good news, the bad news is that this is the easiest change you'll ever make. The others will be much more difficult, young shapeshifter.
