“She seems to have everything well under control,” said Lisa. She turned smiling to a shocked Beth and Lisa. “I kid, I kid!!”
Beth had a worried expression. “Is Kelly going to jail?”
Jen put an arm around Beth, “Nah, she’ll just be warned most likely. But Lisa’s mom will know what to do. Kelly won’t be affected by her own milk, will she?”
Lisa shook her head. “I don’t see how, since she’s just recycling it. That said, there can’t be that much nutritional value to it for the same reason. But if Lindsey is getting into it…she can’t weigh more than 60 pounds, can she?” They doubted it was that much.
They reported their findings to Carol. She sighed and shook her head. “I don’t want to go to CPS if it can be avoided; they have been known to be pretty intense. Do you know where her parents work?”
“Chase,” said Beth. “I think that’s in Manhattan.”
“Chase then. I will may them a visit tomorrow before they go to work. Jennifer, are you feeling all right?”
“I’m fine, it’s just that my shoulders feel a little sore. Must have been that tackle on Sarah where I fell down with the flags.”

No bondsman had been willing to risk $25,000 on Candice Cromarte, lest they find a brick through their windows…or even a horse head. It was widely assumed that at least some of the families living in East Hampton made their careers in…waste management.
Despite this, Coach Cromarte was able to post bail with the help of her family members. With her court date set for December 14th, she would lay low with a friend from college in Ithaca…so long as she stayed in the state, she remained legal.

“Chase, Manhattan branch, Mergers and Acquisitions, how may I direct your call?”
“Yes, I need to speak with either Sophia or Henry Weinberg.” Carol waited several moments
“I’m sorry, they are in a meeting right now, and would you like to leave a message?”
“Yes, please tell them I need to be called as soon as possible, the time of day or night is unimportant; it is urgent regarding their daughters. I am Carol Papadakis, the mother of a friend of her oldest daughter, Kelly.”
“OK, Mrs. Papadakis, I shall pass this on to them, thank you for calling.”
