"No! There is no way in hell I am staying stuck to my old man!" Kyle shouted and pushed Owen. They fell off the couch and bumped into the table.
"Kyle, knock it off! We're two heads on the same body. You pushing me isn't going to do any good!" Owen yelled at Kyle while trying to get up. "I'm not happy about this either. I don't really want to be stuck to you."
"Whatever, this is your fault." Kyle glared at his dad.
"My fault?!"
"Ya!" Kyle huffed, "If you hadn't put that dam thing on, we wouldn't be like this!"
"And if you had given it to Dave, you and him would be together. Did you stop to think about that?" Owen put his hand on his hip while Kyle sighed. "Didn't think so. Now, Let's see about undoing this!" Kyle explained where and when he had bought the eagle medallion, but he also mentioned how the guy and the note said no refunds or do overs.
Owen just blew the thought off as he stuck his head out the door to see if his other son, Josh, was around. He Quickly pulled Kyle down the hall to his bedroom. Once inside, Owen rummaged through his dresser to find something for them to put on. After some arguing and complaining from Kyle, they finally agreed and threw on some cloths. Before they headed out the door, Kyle grabbed his jacket so they could hide their heads in the hood.
Seeing how Kyle was the right side of their conjoined body, he was the one who drove up the road. Once they pulled up to the store, they both looked distraught as they stared at an empty lot.
"What the hell?!" Kyle shouted, "It was right here!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes Dad! It was right there!" Kyle pointed at the lot.
"Ok. Take a deep breath." Owen did it for him, filling their lungs. "Let's go take a look buddy." They got and made sure the coast was clear before they ran over. On the middle of the ground, they found another small wooden box. Kyle popped the lid off with his hand and found a note.
He glanced as his dad who looked worried before reading. "Dear Kyle and Owen, I regret to inform you that I have gone to another time and place. I did say there were no refunds, and I thought the note would have made it clear. But seeing that you've found this, I'll say it once again. The magic that bonded you is permanent, and can't be undone by any means. The two of you had better get use to each other, seeing how you'll never be apart."
