After picking up their lunch, Matt and Rex looked around the cafeteria
for a place to sit down. Thats when they saw someone motioning for
them; it was their friend John. John too had been a close friend of
Matt and Rex since highschool.
Rex quickly walked them over to the table, and sat them down. Matt
laid their meal tray on the table next to John's.
Like everyone else, John too gawked as he studied his friends' body.
"So...I guess the rumor is true. H-how did this happen to you?"
Rex ignored him, and dived strait into his burger, while Matt
explained about the experiment, the money, and the accident. By the
time he was done, John no longer had the stupid look on his face. His
expression had changed; he now looked quite worried. "So you guys are
stuck like...like this until they fix the machine? How do you guys
live like that."
Rex finally started talking while Matt began to down his onion rings.
"Yeah, but its not as bad as you think. There are actually some
benefits, like food. We only have to spend money for one meal since we
share a stomach. Besides that, its not like we are sworn enemies
having to live like this. We are just too best friends who happen to
be sharing a body now."
John nodded, "Well when you put it that way, I guess its not as bad.
So...anyways, our backpacking class is going to be starting soon. We
probally should head out." Matt, Rex, and John each had different
majors so the class they needed were vastly different. But, they all
needed a PE class so they decided to take Backpacking together.
