It was around eight pm when Vinnie returned home, there was a note on the door went to the movies with mom and dad, see ya at nine your bro.
Vinnie was happy, no one to interrupt! Vinnie went to his bedroom, stripped Ryan off, put on a pair of shorts (Ryan didn't need to see any more of him then need be.) and swiftly changed Ryan back.
"Dude, I promise I will never do that again, you know tossing your jockstrap up to the sky."
"Yeah, I know some of why you did it, why don't we go to the kitchen table and finish our homework?" Vinnie asked
"By the way thanks for not ditching me, or taking me home I did not want to deal with dad on a good day, when he's drunk forget about it!"
"Your welcome, you know Ryan when we were together like that, I had a sort of a mental leakage from you, I only had the surface thoughts,
but I could not leave you to face that! When did the abuse start?"
"When I was five," Ryan said, knowing that there was no need for pretense any more.
Vinnie was shocked! Outraged! "You are never going back there again!"
With little prompting they sat about homework, midway through the door opens and in walks Vinnie's family, and people of them as the 'Brady Bunch' type minus the extra kids(just two boys)
"Who's your friend Vin?" Dad asked.
"Dad this is Ryan and we adopted him back when he was five," Vinnie stated. The metal glowed brightly, the house changed and the world changed. Ryan now remembered when he was five - he was on the jungle gym, he flipped off of them, but in the process his shirt slipped down his body, and an eagle eyed teacher caught a look at an old welt, She did not even ask for an excuse for the welt,(she had heard enough of them) she just sent Ryan to the hospital, which was where the Vinnie's mother was working at the time!
Vinnie's mother was so nice and easy to talk to that Ryan's story just flowed out! There was no way she would allow Ryan to go home to that beast that was his father, she blackmailed him into consent to adopt Ryan.(Ryan would, of course, not know that!)
Right after Ryan came to live with Vinnie's family the upstairs rooms were built, because they did not want to show favoritism, the two rooms were equal.
Ryan started to call Vinnie Vin, and while they were still young they became friends Ryan was the Alpha in sport, and Vin was the Alpha in school, but that fact pushed the boys to do better in the other categories!
At that moment the flash was over Ryan and Vin were back to the present, and So much had changed, from the neck down the boys were bookends, only the faces were different!
"That Bitch," Ryan exclaimed! "I can't believe she got me to do that to my own brother!"
"Chill, bro I know how to take her down a peg she wants to give the class speech, she's now two slots away, because now we are tied," Vin explained,"So I think the student body Pres and VP have a few announcements to make tomorrow..."
