Max left his house, and walked across the street to Luke's house. The
morning was bitter cold. His nose started to run. However, Max
patiently waited at the door. A few moments later Luke was at the
door. "Hi" Luke said.
"Hi" Max responded. Luke motioned for Max to come in side.
Luke shut the door behind Max. Max rubbed his hands together for
warmth. "So..." Luke began.
"Yeah..." Max replied. The two of them stood in awkward silence. They
ran ideas in their heads on how to express their feelings, but neither
came up with anything good. After several minutes, they both began
speaking at the same time. "Luke Max I wanted you should know I..."
Both of their faces lit up bright red. "Hehehe..." they laughed
nervously.
After several more minutes of silence, Max gave a nervous smile as he
said, "Luke...I have something to tell you...I...I love you."
Luke returned the smile, as his face turned into another shade of red.
"Max...I...love you too."
Simultaneously, they wrapped their arms around each other in a tight
embrace. Max and Luke just held onto each other. Neither one wanted to
let go first. In the excitement, they fused with each other. Their
hearts were now, literally, one.
After several more minutes, Luke and Max partially unfused, so that
just their chests were joined. They gazed into each other's eyes, so
happy to be able to express their feelings.
After that, they played around a little on the couch. But, they
couldn't do it for too long. By now, it was 6:45. They had to leave
for school now, or face detention.
So, they quickly cleaned up, and headed out for Luke's car. As Luke
pulled away from the curb, Max had the strangest feeling that he
forgot something.
