Alice grinned as she pulled a folding knife out of her handbag.
WTF? thought Aaron.
She started to clear away the bark on what had been his chest. He felt
like all his chest hairs had been shaved off. Then he felt the burning
heat of the knife as Alice carved a big heart on his exposed wood. She
then carved an A as in Aaron loves Alice.
Aaron was leaking sap and screaming mentally.
"There don't you look nice. Now to see about turning you back," Alice
said sitting down at the Chronivac.
"Damn, you should've told me to change the default setting on the
Chronivac. You're going to be stuck as a tree for 24 hours. Ha ha!"
laughed Alice, "Well, I guess I'll take a raincheck on that date until
tomorrow. Catch you later, Aaron. I know you won't be going anywhere."
