I idly was looking into a full sized mirror at my new self. Sidney was in another room on my laptop, searching the Internet for research articles on the human mind and trying to figure out a course of action. I had no idea what my course of action should be. My friends wouldn't recognize me. I wasn't missing work yet as today was Sunday, but I couldn't go in tomorrow looking like this. I didn't even know the full name of the body I was in. All I knew was that she had run away from home and might even be wanted by the police.
My life felt stolen. I was feeling lost, trapped in a foreign body. A teenaged girl no less. Everything felt a little different. The long hair on my shoulders. The way things seemed taller now that I was several inches shorter. The way my hips naturally swayed when I walked. The extra weight on my chest, and there was extra weight there. Looking at the mirror, my mind couldn't register that I was looking at myself.
The girl in the mirror was cute. More than cute, actually. Her straight blond hair framed her girlish face. Her skin was fair, smooth and unblemished. She was slender yet athletic, with her short shorts showing off toned thighs. She was unusually well endowed for a teenager, and a thought came to the back of my mind wondering if they were fake. I realized I had an easy way to find out. My hands gingerly reached up to cup those perfect breasts. I let out a soft sigh of pleasure as I found they were more sensitive than I would have guessed. I also found they were real.
"Enjoying ourselves are we?"
I let out a girlish yelp of surprise. "Sidney! Ummm, I was like, you know..."
The little girl laughed. "Don't worry, I understand. I am... well, I used to be a guy too."
I felt myself blushing while Sidney turned serious.
"I might be able to upgrade the prototype to give you your body back without someone dying first. Most of my research must have been destroyed in the fire, but I kept backups of my most important notes in a fireproof safe. I checked the news websites, not one story about a house in the area catching fire. Nobody knows my place burned. We need to go there right away to get my notes, before the police find the place and turn it into a crime scene."
At least this was a plan for right now.
Taking one last look in the mirror, I realized Kelly's blue eyes constantly had a slightly vacant look to them. I may not have felt like a bimbo, but I looked like one.
