As soon as Luke parked, Max jumped out of the car and ran inside his house followed closly by Luke. There was no one in the front room so he yelled, "Mark, Zack! Where are you guys?!" Mark and Zack came walking down the stairs. Max spotted them and began pleading, "I am so sorry! I can't believe I forgot about you! I...I..."
"Max! MAX!" Mark calmly spoke. "Take it easy! Its alright; we're really not mad or anything." Mark reached out and patted Max on the shoulder. "Well, at first we were, but not now."
Zack proudly porclaimed, "Yeah, I had a great time hanging out with Mark. He helped me on homework, we talked, we played games,...well the game part was kind of difficlut, but I had a blast with all the other stuff we did." Mark then began to hit on of the other stuff they had done that Zack left out, smiling the entire time.
Max and Luke exchanged a glance. "Wow...it sounds like...you two actually had a lot of fun." Luke said. Both of them knew that Mark usually had very little patients with Zack.
"Yeah, I wouldn't mind at all being stuck with Zack." Mark smiled. "Of course," his smile faded, "We probably don't have a choice in the matter now." Mark sighed.
Luke gave them a funny look. "What do mean by that?"
Zack began, "Well..." He explained how Ethan had tried and tried to separated them, but it just was not working. Ethan eventually got very exhausted so Scott walked him over to his house to rest. He then explained that Ethan had suggested there might be a time limit.
Luke and Max shared a worried glance, but then Max said, "Well, mabey Luke and I together can separate you?"
Zack and Mark shrugged their shouders, "Well I guess its worth a shot." Mark said.
