Heather's parents didn't listen. They told her that contests were
always scams and not to be so gullible. She sulked away. Then she
went to pampers.com/contest on her own computer. The contest had a
simple form to put in your baby's name.
It didn't ask for a credit card number or anything.
She was sure it wasn't a scam. Pampers was a major company, they'd
never scam anyone. She knew that they should do the contest, her
parents were always going on and on about how much diapers and other
baby supplies cost.
There was a little link that said, "Problems?" She clicked it. It
took her to a new page. This one had a section labeled "Your parents
won't..."
There were three subheadings:
let you enter your brother in the contest.
let you enter your sister in the contest.
let you enter yourself in the contest.
