"Well what is it, Trish?" Liz asked.
"I want to know if you guys are into it," Trish said. Jennifer looked confused and asked, "Into what?" Trish looked back at her and said, "You know. What I was talking about this afternoon." Jennifer and Liz sighed in disgust while Jamie remained silent. "What is she talking about?" Kylie asked.
Jamie told her, "Earlier today Trish was saying how she loved to flaunt her body and would rather go nude all the time. Supposedly they dared her so that she could go nude wherever, whenever she wanted and only she, Jenn, and Liz would think it was strange." Kylie asked, "Why did you say supposedly?" Trish interrupted, "Because to make sure that it would work we had to make Jamie think it was perfectly normal, so we left her out of the curse."
Kylie nodded her head, while Jamie spoke again. "Yea I really can't remember the curse. I remember Trish saying that I had to be left out but other than that it's a blur. It's as if your memory is altered by a dare like that."
"Great, but we're off the subject now," Trish said. "Jennifer and I are still 'cursed'," she mocked the word as she didn't consider it as such, "but what about you three?" Jennifer said, "Trish, just because I can doesn't mean I want to. And besides, everything Jamie said was right. It would be kind of dumb." Jamie let out a slight chuckle, because she knew full well that they could use the curse to prevent things like that. She wanted to see if Trish would remember that, since Trish did make mention of that fact when they were in the clearing.
Trish groaned loudly and said, "You guys are all no fun. Fine, I don't care then. But I'll make sure I bring this up sometime soon. I won't give this up." She said it like she really meant it. What her grand scheme behind this was anybody's guess. Jamie figured that she was too tired to push the idea any further tonight. She felt pretty exhausted as well, and she was sure Jennifer, Liz, and Kylie were the same way.
Jennifer took charge again. "OK, then. Let's go back to the school and pick up our cars." She turned to Kylie, "Are you going to know what yours looks like?" Kylie pointed to a picture on the wall. It was her standing with her parents in front of a silver two-door Dodge model that had a big bow on top of it. Presumably it was taken the day she got the car. She said, "I think that will jog my memory." Jennifer laughed and said, "I would think so."
They all stood up from the floor. Jennifer groaned tiredly and said, "Wow, what a day. And to think that it all started with a phone..." she tailed off as her friends stared at her. She finished the sentence, "...call," as a look of combined shock and realization swept over her face.
