Robin looked at the Emment Kelly clock on the wall. "Oh my!" she squealed to her friend Sally, "It's time for us to go to work!"
The two went down to the garage where the tiny clown car Robin's parents baught her for her 16th birthday was waiting. After bending and contorting a little, they got inside and drove off.
Sally giggled as Robin drove; they'd been friends the sixth grade when they met in school. Having a friend like Robin made life a little easier for Sally, who was a clown child born to a human family.
