Carl slipped into his house with an armload of jocks. He didn't
expect to find anyone at home, everyone was supposed to be at cousin
Lucy's wedding. He carried his folded athletes down to the sewing
room, and then he went and collected his extra set of clean sheets and
comforter. As towel boy he had learned his way around a sewing
machine. He had to repair torn uniforms, torn jockstraps, torn
towels. If it was fabric that needed to be fixed it was towel boy's
job.
He brought in one more load of jocks, and started sewing. He position
the hot receiver Billy who'd been flattened catching a pass looking
over his shoulder with his butt up in the air, so that he'd be in the
perfect position when Carl humped his sheets. In the quiet of his
empty house, Carl noticed that he could hear a very faint murmur
coming from the stack of folded athletes.
"Aw, that's cute they're all begging to be inside my sheets and not on
my comforter," he chuckled to himself. He started the sewing machine
to secure Billy permanently to his sheets.
Each time he turned off the machine the murmuring voices seemed louder
and more noticeable. The first stringquarterback ended up sewn on his
top sheet, so that he'd form a sandwich with Billy and Carl would be
the meat in between. It took nearly six hours, but by the time Carl
was done he had a new football player themed room complete with life
sized line-men rushing off the wall, and a comforter highlighted by
Thad and Josh.
Rod and Jay being JV players found themselves used as floor mats.
