Dan lay in a crate, nursing the pups that he had given birth to about a week ago, but he wasn't really sure because time was so hard to follow for some reason.
In the next crate over, he heard Ryan shift about and the puppies he was nursing whimper. After a bit, someone came down and picked up one of the puppies Dan was nursing and took it upstairs.
Who this person was Dan couldn't remember, but he thought they might be important...especially since they had already taken three of the seven puppies he had given birth to. Another whimper and Dan realised that one of Ryan's puppies had also been taken.
Stretching, Dan decided that what he wanted was something to eat and maybe to drink, hopefully clearing his head.
Lapping up the water, Dan tried to focus on one majour thing: he wasn't a bitch and that he was human...though what he looked like as a human had sort of dimmed in the past couple of months, making it hard for him to clearly remember.
Moving back to his crate, Dan shifted about, allowing the remaining two puppies access to his teats. As he lay there, Dan decided that if he was human, the he clearly must be a female human. "I mean. I makes sense," he reasoned out in his mind. "I was turned into a bitch...by who I don't remember. I answer to the name Dani and it is kind of silly to think of a boy turning into a girl. That stuff just doesn't happen unless this is a book or movie, which it isn't"
Shifting again, Dani suddenly realised that the person was back and they were holding something. A voice said something and it took a few minutes for Dani to register what had just been said. And the moment he figured it out, the more confused he became.
Above him, the voice repeated what it had said - "I also wanted a beautiful horse and foals fetch a better dollar then puppies...so I'll just make you into a horse" - and then the person was bending down and suddenly Dani felt a sharp pain in his hip. As the figure stood back up, it told Dani, "Don't worry. You can continue to nurse your puppies. That change won't begin for another two days...and we already have buyers lined up for your puppies. So don't worry. Enjoy your time before your change."
Alarmed, Dani tried to first get up and when that failed, she tried to let out a bark of alarm. Instead what came out was something that was both a soft bark and a soft neigh. Confused, Dani decided to remain where she was for the moment, hoping to be able to sort this out before the change started. And as she lay there, hoping against hope, it slowly dawned on Dani that the person who did was her sister.
