With the ring on your finger you dive into the water after the mermaid. As promised, you're able to breathe underwater. As you swim along, your legs began to feel strange and soon you are forced to stop swimming. You look to see what is the matter and discover your legs have turned a golden color, very much like the color of the ring. You feel pain in your legs and try to rub them - perhaps your muscles are cramping?
But you realize your feet look strange, like they are strinking. Also your knees seem to have disappeared. You flail your arms to signal the mermaid who had kept swimming on. She swims back to check on your.
Soon the cause of the sensations and changes in your legs becomes clearer as each of your legs splits into 4 legs. Each of your 8 legs is long and slender. You feel them and there is no apparent bones within and no defined feet or knees. They are less like legs and more like tentacles!
You look at the octopus ring on your finger the mermaid gave you then back at your legs. You realize the ring has partly turned you into an octopus.
The mermaid swims up.
"What's the matter?" she asks. You hear it in your head rather than her speaking the words.
"My legs!"
"Yes, they've changed. That's what the ring does. How else did you expect to breathe underwater?"
"It's not what I had in mind!"
You realize your boxer shorts are no longer comfortable with your new leg situation and they were partially ripped by the change anyway. You rip them off, revealing that the golden skin of your tentacle leg starts at your waist. Your manhood isn't visible. You're not familiar with octopus anatomy but you guess it is now somewhere underneath you admist your legs.
You wonder if that is all the changes and if you should remove the ring or continue as your are with the mermaid.
