The paint job was only the beginning. The police garage mechanics
began souping up Jeff so he was no longer street legal, but could
catch a speeding Ferrari or Porsche with NO tank attached he might
even be able to overtake a Bugatti or Maserati- briefly at least. A
grille was installed between the front and the backseat to stow
prisoners. In addition, restraint hooks were added to be used to cuff
prisoners in place if needed. His radio was pulled out and a police
dispatch computer and video camera with sound was installed. Then
after all those things were added to the car. He was refitted for the
police arsenal which he would carry. The map slots on the doors were
converted to baton holders. The trunk was fitted with guns and ammo,
medical kit, blanket, emergency water, fire extinguisher, and more.
Special shock absorbers were added to accommodate the added weight. A
siren was mounted under the hood next to the radiator. A narrow
flashing lights were positioned inside the front and rear windshields.
Jeff felt like a real warrior or law enforcement member when it was
all done. He proudly wore the gold shields painted on the sides of his
doors. Now he was ready to be assigned to a patrolman or pair of
patrolmen.
