Leaving himself the only one aware of the changes, he set the world on
an alternating cycle. One day all the humans would be male and the
next all the humans would be female, and he grinned and on the seventh
day they'd all be what they were originally.
"That should make for curious sex relationships. It should also
demonstrate how much of personality is hormonal or gender related. And
best of all, I'm the only one who'll know. I am damn good to have
found the Easter Egg that let me override the Chronivac's safety
protocols and change the world," Jeff said in a prideful voice to his
audience of his cat. He hit enter, and the hourglass counted down to
the changes. They'd kick in at midnight.
Jeff stretched went down to dinner, watched a game, and decided to
take a nap. He planned to be up at midnight, but slept through his
watch alarm which he had left on the toilet lid while he showered.
