It started with a small pitter-patter of droplets, but the inevitable downpour was soon to follow.
“We’ve been searching for the trail for hours; I thought you said you knew you’re way back!” she yelled over the increasing wind and rain around them.
“I thought I did too! W must have made a wrong turn somewhere!” he lied not knowing which way was back to begin with, but he kept his hopes high and pressed on through the dense forest.
The storm began to grow more turbulent and visibility was dropping rapidly, but after a miserable three hours they got lucky and found a small cave etched into the side of a cliff. They climbed inside finding its accommodations more hospitable than they had first expected.
“Well, it’s no five-star hotel, but at least it keeps us out of the rain,” Todd said shaking himself off, “By the way, I don’t believe we’ve been properly introduced. The name’s Todd.”
“Mary,” she said shaking his paw, “though I wish we were meeting under better circumstances.”
“Likewise,” he laughed, “I guess we just wait in here until this storm passes through.”
“I guess so… Tell me more about you,” she inquired.
“Before or after this?” he teased.
They exchanged life stories for what seemed like hours, but the rain outside the cave was unrelenting. The more they talked the more personal the questions became.
“Who’s your girlfriend?” Mary blurted out without thinking. The smile on Todd’s muzzle quickly faded, but he was not angry she had asked.
“Who was my girlfriend would be more grammatically correct,” he said and began to tell her exactly what had happened.
After the story, Mary felt both sorry for him and asking him to relive the nightmare.
“What were you doing in the woods in the first place?” she asked trying to change the subject.
“Well, I, um…” he stammered as he felt his penis began to slide out of his sheath. He tried to hide his growing erection, but no matter what he did it kept getting bigger.
