"Where am I?" Bast asked to nobody in particular as a fog swirled around her. "I do not know feline." came a growled reply as the swirling mist revealed Fenrir Lokison. Between them the fog began to boil and a massive light burned away the last of the mist revealing a stark flat void. A girl dressed as a japanese miko stood before the two wincing gods. "I am Amaterasu and I have summoned you here." The girl stated plainly.
"Who are you to summon Bast, goddess of all felines?" Bast huffed haughtily, offended by the implication that she could be summoned as a common servant, or worse, a housepet. "I believe the culture you are emulating would call me Amun Ra. Is that good enough to get your attention Neko-chan?" She replied calmly, allowing nuclear fire to roil behind her eyes. "Why did you call us goddess?" Fenrir growled, eager to get to the point. "All in due time Okami-chan. I await one more before I explain myself." Amaterasu grinned, pointing to the flat gray sky. A point grew and quickly resolved itself as a cloud racing toward their position. Upon the back of the cloud rode a golden monkey balancing with a fighting staff. "Son Goku at your service Amaterasu sama." The monkey bowed with a flourish before hopping off the cloud.
"Now that Saru chan has finally arrived I will start by saying there are no gods here. Before you argue try to remember actually being a god. You are personifications of your respective animals but I am here to offer you something greater. Lions, wolves and apes have joined forces against a great evil. A part of me has been made flesh, incarnated through nuclear fire and the chaotic magic of Glendale. I ask that you lend me your power to help eradicate this Kurse that threatens us." Amaterasu bowed, allowing the others to mull over their decision. The sun was preparing to rise, but would it be enough to purify the blight.
