It was now beginning to turn a dark gray, soon followed by a pitch black, which began to spread up his arm, but the most pain was radiating from his hand, which was switching from hot to cold so rapidly he thought he was going to end up HypoThermic. his Index and middle fingers began to meld together as a surge of pain hit him.
"AAAAAGgghhh!!!" Cale let out a loud scream as the first honest to god change in his muscle and bone structure happened.
The skin that had begun to turn black was now turning shiny and scaly-looking. His hand, with now only 3 fingers and a thumb, took on more of a curvy, feral look. His fingernails melted down and essentially tempered themselves into hard and sharp claws. His thumb lengthened slightly as the claw formed, leaving him with a new reptilian-style hand. His wrist now had colored bands around it, Red, then yellow, then red again... It seemed he was going to end up as something venemous, that was for sure.
The same thing happened to his left arm, and he felt as though he no longer had the energy to scream. he was weak, fatigued, and in excrutiating pain. It was at this state of mind he noticed that his body was mostly cold now, and his arm began to produce armor-thick scales, as light (weight-wise) as the shirt he was wearing...
The changes, now complete on the arms, started now on his legs, seeming to start at the ends and work in. Once again his skin turned black, and his toes melded together until he had only what seemed like talons. The claws formed, and his heels raised up to where his calves would be, causing him to shift position a tiny bit, to keep his balance. the same bands of color formed around his ankles and knees.
And here is where it got wierd. beneath his clothing, he could feel something happening to his... Extremities. He felt what used to be a limp dangling sac get retracted into his body to keep it out of the heat, his member becoming pointed and slightly ridged as it too retracted and hid.
A small nub began pressing it's way out of his spine, right above his buttox, causing a sharp Sting of pain, and then numbness. He could feel every little vertebrae of the tail being formed, until, from what he could feel, it ended up being about four feet long, and six inches wide, shrinking as it reached the tip, with those same red, yellow, red bands at the tip, the middle, and near the base of it.
The changes moved up from the waist, Cale's tail now sticking out above his shorts, flailing around uncontrollably as muscles formed to allow him control.
The pain got worse, the black scales now covering his entire body, making his clothes tight. His chest was a shiny black, and his stomachbelly area was now a dark cherry-red. The same color bands formed on his shoulders, and around his neck. Leaving only one last thing to change...
