Suddenly the room glowed with a brilliant white light. No longer was Bryan in his home. Now he was in some strange place with a tile floor and white walls. Desperately, he grabbed the machine and started hitting buttons, but all that happened was a single message flashing on the screen.
SORRY. THESE CHANGES ARE PERMANENT.
Bryan the chimp shrieked and hooted, jumping up and down in terror. He couldn't stay like this. Suddenly he became aware of a shadow looming over him. He turned, only to find a man in a white coat standing behind him.
"Bobo, how'd you get out?" The man asked.
Bryan's eyes widened. Bobo? He had changed his name to Bobo?
Suddenly the man scooped him up and started carrying him away, leaving the Chronivaic. Bryan cried out in protest, reaching out for the device, but it was no use.
"What's the matter Bobo?" He asked, patting Bryan gently on his diapered butt. "You're not usually like this."
Suddenly the man forced him into a cage and shut the door. Before Bryan could do anything the door was locked and he was trapped. Now more frightened then ever he shrieked some more and tugged on the bars, but it was no use. He was stuck like this, and he had no idea where he was or what the man would do to him.
