Whimpering, torn between the two options before you, you stand turn around three times before finally thinking, "If I wander into the park, I could wind up in a bigger mess then I already am in," and looking at the little girl, you reason, "But if I go with her, the same could be true."
Whimpering some more, you squat down and pee, marking the area as your own. After a moment, you look back at the park and think, "Maybe, but not right now," as you start toward the little girl.
Smiling the little girl tells you, "Doggy will feel better soon," and reaching down, she gives you a pat on the head as she reads your collar.
Standing, she giggles and tells you, "I can't pronounce your name, so for right now I call you, uhhhhhh, Cupcake," and turning, she starts walking down the alley, telling you as she does so, "Doggy needs a nice bath first. I saw you cleaning yourself."
Barking out what you hope is wait up, you run after the little girl, who tells you, "That wont do. I can understand you, but it would work out better if you speak."
"I can only bark," you woof out.
The little girl laughs and tells you, "Speak girl," as she leads you through a gate and into a backyard filled with toys for a human female childe.
"I'm not a girl," you bark out.
Laughing some more, making her way over to a kiddie pool, she tells you, "You have girl parts and mommy says when doggy has those bumps on her chest, doggy is feeling hot. Now speak."
"I am speaking," you woof out the first part of the sentence, but are shocked as the last word comes out in human.
Joy floods you and cavorting about, you cry out, "I can speak."
Grinning, the girl tells you, "Good girl. Now get in the bath so that I can wash you," and then starts to pour something into the pool.
Unsure, wondering why it is you suddenly can speak, not wanting to disobey the little girl, you hesitantly approach the kiddie pool. Peering into it, you are about to ask something, when suddenly the little girl cries, "Cupcake is more shy about baths then I am," and before you can do anything, the little girl is pushing and pulling on you, trying to get you into the pool, which you now notice is full of bubbles.
With an all mighty splash, the two of you fall into the pool and as panic starts to overcome you, the little girl laughs and reaching toward you, she announces, "I'm going to take a bath with Cupcake."
Wanting to get out, you start to move, but stop as the little girl starts to undress.
Whimpering out, "Please don't do that," you turn away as the girl tells you, "What? We are both girls here." and then adds, "Is Cupcake shy around other girls," and then begins to laugh.
Muttering a yes, you listen as the girl tells you, "Okay. It is bath-time," and reaching out, she slowly begins to wash and scrub you.
Liking the feel as the girl washes you, bothered only a little bit when she scrubbed your abdomen and groin area, you let out a noise of happiness and when the girl tells you, "All clean," you climb out of the pool with a bit of hesitancy.
Behind you, the girl cries, "Be right back," as you shake the water from your fur.
Moments later, the girl has returned wearing a clean dress and holding another dress that is white with a floral print on the top and pink and flowing on the bottom in one hand and a brush in the other.
Depositing the garment on a nearby plastic tea-table, you notice she is holding a towel under it. Squatting down next to you, she tells you, "Cupcake must be groomed first," as she runs the brush through your fur coat, something you find to be actually quite pleasant as she alternates rubbing you down with the towel.
Afterward, she forces the dress over your egg-shaped head and with some difficulty, she places your front legs through the arm holes.
Afterward, she sit down in front of you and looking at you, she tells you, "Stand up Cupcake. Up, stand up," and then stands, sits down and then repeats the process a couple more times.
Unsure, you tell her, "I can't. My bones are not meant for me to stand on two legs. Only four" to which the little girl laughs as she continues the same motions, all the while repeating to you over and over the same thing.
After a moment, you leap up, but force your hind legs to remain on the ground. Falling back, you tell her, "See."
Laughing, the girl tells you, "Cupcake said she couldn't speak. And yet she does," as she stands and walks over to the plastic tea-table and sitting down, she adds, "I wont play until you stand up Cupcake."
Whimpering, you turn about in place three times and after bit, you force your front end up again. In the end, it takes you at least seven more tries before you are able to find that you can stand on your hind legs and after a couple of trial-and-error lessons, you slowly relearn to walk on two legs instead of four.
Tail wagging, you let your tongue loll out as the little girl cries out, "Cupcake is a good girl. She is not quite doggy, but not quite human," and reaching toward you, she takes your collar off and drops it somewhere behind her.
As she fastens a lace choker that matches the dress around your neck and sets a crown on your head, you ask, "Can I get some underwear to wear?"
Giggling, the little girl tells you, "Cupcake's tail with get in the way. Now, it is time to play. You are a princess and I am your bestest best friend, also a princess, in the whole wide world," and sitting down, she pretends to pour you some tea, asking if you want sugar and milk.
Sitting down, realising that you are sitting on your tail as you feel it pressing between your legs, you think, "Well. It could be worst," as you sip your pretend tea as it dawns on you that your height is now the same as the little girl's and that you now stand three foot five rather then two foot tall.
