A juicy crunch of the Apple and Jonathon listens to hearing a woman faintly chanting something, he is too you to realize this is a spelled curse coming from the fruit he is eating.
He takes another big bite and the juices from the apple run out over his lips, down his chin and vaporize...!
A tasty treat, Jonathon chows down the Apple only to reach for another in the basket. As he reaches his hand toward the Apple, his right forearm shows some dark discoloring, he rubbing it thought it to be some streak of mud or mold. He rubs at it and the sensation becomes more like to feeling of peach-fuzz.
Kid being what he is, he ignores the smudge of whatever and looks at which Apple next he might chose, which one in the most juicy.
“Footsteps,” someone is coming, and Jonathon turns his attention to who might be coming his way. He leaves the basket where it is and tries to take a position as if nonchalant to the basket even being there. Waiting, nobody comes in to check on him but whether from the fear of being caught or what, he has an ache in his tummy. The ache spreads as does what is causing it, as soon his head hurts, his ears too, and Jonathon feels a need for companionship.
Walking bent forward at the waist because his gut is hurting him, Jonathon wanders around quietly looking for any of the friends there, or even his older brother might be of some help for once. Gurgling sounds coming from his tummy makes Jonathon feel even sicker. He begins to look for a bathroom to puke, or even a vase standing in some corner of some room would do as well.
Sinking to his knees, his head aches terribly, his eyesight blurred, Jonathon feels faint, scared, a rush then of strength from adrenalin, his body begin then to work against his future. The chanted spell from eating the Apple is making great strides upon the person of Jonathon, the smudge he saw his by then a flourishing patch of darkened skin and growing black fur. He is sick but not to where he shall die, his illness is that what comes by a cursed transforming of a human becoming an animal.
