In the end you couldn't stand your sister AND your mother. So you wear a pair of girls jeans and a blue top. At least nothing too girly.
When you arrive at the mall your mother drags you from one shop into the next one.
She buys everything from underwear (which you still doesn't want to look at)to sports clothes (which were blue after a long debate with your mother).
Of course she buys also a lot of jeans and tops and also a few skirts, but you tries your best to prevent her from buying too girly things.
Now you are back at home and stare at all girls clothes your mother bought.
On your bed lays your new school uniform, cause your family moved into a new city according to an advice of the doctor, so you can't taunted for your disease.
Of course all in your new city think that you were a girl for your whole life.
But the uniform with the skirt, the blazer, the blouse and the tights, is not half as terrible as the pink summer dress your mom bought against all your pleas and which she expected you to wear.
"Hey, Laura. Are you ready for supper?"
"You know I hate it when you call me so, Stacy!", you grumble to your sister.
Another part of your predicament is that you can't be called Lawrence any longer, so your mom re-christen you to Laura.
"I know, but the doc said you should get used to it."
You take another fierce look on the clothes on your bed and follow your sister downstairs.
You have only one week before you must wear this on your first day in school.
