"Hey, look," Damion said, pointing at the clock. "School's out!"
"Awesome! We can go show off to everybody!"
"Yeah!"
They decided to keep wearing their fused clothes for now, since they'd attract even more attention. Damion grabbed his keys and they headed out the door. They stumbled a bit going downstairs, not used to sharing control of a body. But they were so enthusiastic they learned quickly, and soon they were out the front door and strolling down the sidewalk like they'd been two-headed all their lives, laughing and joking with each other about what their friends' reactions would be like.
They were so into each other they barely noticed all the people in the street stopping and staring, but when they did notice, they'd laugh, like when the guy on the bike ran straight into a telephone pole (not very fast, fortunately) and when the kids who were playing tag in the yard they were passing all slammed into the first kid who'd seen them and stopped and stared, knocking them all into a pile on the lawn. People everywhere were popping out their cameraphones and taking pictures of Damion and Steve as they walked past.
"Cool!" said Steve, grinning and waving for one shocked photo-taker. "Maybe we'll be on the news!"
"Two-Headed Boy Rampages Through Suburbs!" exclaimed Damion, stopping their body and making them walk with menacing stomps. "Film at 11!"
They laughed and high-fived, and headed around the corner to the park where their friends were playing basketball.
