Brandi took her seat next to Jennifer where she usually sat. Things didn't really seem all that different despite the change in gender. She had always wanted to join choir but when she was Brad her father had pressured her into more manly pursuits such as football. According to her father only little girls and queers joined the choir. He really didn't have an excuse to stop Brandi from learning to sing, though searching back through her modified memories he had been trying to pressure her to become a cheerleader. He wasn't pushing nearly as hard as he had been for Brad to join football and would probably cave in if his "little girl" asked nicely enough.
"Hey Brad." Jennifer whispered, tugging on Brandi's lacy sleeve. "You still have the curse right?" she asked with a concerned look on her face. "Yeah Jen, but I don't think I should use it." Brandi whispered back nervously, not wanting to undo the magic that had opened up this whole new life to her.
"Ms. Smith, Ms. Sullivan, could you both refrain from gossiping in my class." the teacher frowned as both girls blushed a deep red.
Kylie and Mary both returned to class so Jennifer's window of opportunity had closed. Kylie grinned directly at Jennifer on the way to her seat. Jennifer shuddered, scared of what Kylie could be planning with her new form. The new cheerleader was an unknown threat and seemed to savor keeping it that way.
