The water bottle hovered millimeters from Jay's mouth. He noticed, out
of the corner of his eye, Rod standing there staring at him with this
grin of anticipation plastered on his face. Jay's eye dropped to Rod's
shorts which were tented with a wet spot on them.
He turned to Rod asking, "Say, Rod, why'd you tell the JV team not to
suit up?"
"Oh, Jay," Rod said blinking and shifting to conceal his boner, "Well,
I'm not sure that the other JV players are as mature as you about
flattening guys into poster boys. Besides I thought I'd get first dibs
on the cut outs."
"Oh, okay, uh, think fast!" Jay said.
"What!" Rod shouted and sputtered as he felt the stream of water from
Jay's bottle spray him in the face and hair. He turned toward Jay, and
then turned to run.
"So you did put some of your elixir in my water!" roared Jay leaping
over the bench and running after Rod.
As Rod ran down the aisle past the coaches's offices and the the gym
door. One of the swinging gymnasium doors flew open. Rod ran
straight into it. He went flat instantly.
"Say, Rod, I got the mailing tubes for the poster boys! Now where are
they? Uh, Jay, what -?" Coach Rumpole said as he came through the
door with an armload of cardboard mailing tubes.
Jay didn't have to think twice. He emptied the rest of his water
bottle into the coach's startled face.
