Scott looked to the left and then to the right. The doctor stood on his left and two secuity guards stood in the doorway on the right. Feeling trapped Scott sat down and then suddenly grabbed his gut as if in pain.
"Oh what's wrong Scott?" asked the doctor seeing his sudden jerk of pain.
"I need to use the Men's room, please I got'a go and go now!" pleaded Scott.
The doctor turned to the guards and told them to guide the way.
Once inside the Men's room Scott looked for a window or some possible escape. In a toilet stall near the far end of the long line of stalls was a pair of feet. Sitting doing his business was one of the lab techs.
A lab white coat and of all things a baseball cap from the Chicago Cubs were available for the taking. Scott took off his light green jacket and in a quick move took a replacement and a ball cap to boot.
The yell from the toilet stall as the Lab tech was in the middle of something personal but totally unable to chase his coat and hat.
The lab coat was rather large but the hat covered a balding head. Out the door went a lab tech ball cap turned backwards, past the guards and out the main doors.
An unprepared surprise as Scott found someone hooking his car to a tow truck and pulling away from the parking lot. At first a thought to stop the truck, yet as he spied the name on the truck it belonged to the Research company.
A calm but quick walk to the far side of the lot made Scott feel free of his poor choice of employment. A line of bushes offered better cover as he darted into them and began to run for freedom.
At first he ran down the public sidewalk along Ogden Road, but this seem a little to obvious.
