Scott had no place else to run than a bad little boy. After a mile of running down Ogden he turned right on to Lincoln and headed into Hinsdale, and home.
Huffing and out of breathe he sat down near the commuter train station on a wooden bench. Squirrls played all around him and the chimes from the clock tower soothed his ragged nerves.
"Wow, Scott you might have been.... well God only knows?" he muttered aloud to himself and the chattering squirrls.
The sounds on incoming trains woke him to become alert. Looking toward the station platform he saw a security vehicle from the Donkey Research and Development Group.
"They're out looking for me, I'm doomed!" he muttered to himself.
Calmly he turned to walk out of the park and take a wide circle to home only to see standing on Lincoln St. the Doctor and one angry Lab Tech.
Scott plopped down on the park bench as the Doctor approached.
"Quite the big chase but Scott there are many of us and we know where you live. It was easy to backtrack you to here, now come peacefully and we can talk over my newest proposal." suggested the Doctor.
Into the waiting black S.U.V. climbed Scott the Lab Tech. and the Doctor sat across the security drived. As Scott sat quietly he looked first at the Doctor who smiled and then at the Lab Tech who was wearing Scott's jacket.
"Holy Shit!" yelled Scott as he tossed his view forward and took a horrorified look at the driver. It had looked from a distance like a man but sitting behind the driver Scott had a closer view. The figure of a man but his ears were as hairy as his head. Pointed, hairy, Scott wanted to reach out and touch the ears.
"I suggest you don't touch them!" said the Doctor as he saw Scott reaching. "Lyle won't like it and we don't want to get one of our older and most respected volunteers angry. Several years ago he came in answer to an add we placed for paid volunteers. He signed a simular contract like I offered you. He accepted his situation very well and he along with a lovely female where shipped off to Denmark.
Lyle spent seven wonderful years as a prime stud on a breeding farm. A beautiful Knabstrup stallion he was and now as the Reformation Flux works him back to a man he could retire a much richer man. They paind Lyle $250. dollars American into a escrow account for each mounting. He mounted a thousand times in the first year and even a little more after the second year. He returns to his former life a wealthy man able to retire, right Lyle?" explained the Doctor.
