Valerie had spied the ad in the newspaper. She was 25, brunette, a tall 6'2", and very attractive. Though she worked as a legal secretary, a little extra cash on the side never hurt anybody. She was curious...
That's how it all got started.
A quick googling of 1313 Forandring Street had finally clinched it. This was no ordinary medical research - this was a chance to make history.
The address belonged to Body Changers Limited, a group with a keen interest in genes and altering them. They had been responsible for a number of breakthroughs in recent years as well as a great deal of medical technology now being employed by hospitals. They had developed advanced gene therapy to help slow or even reverse fatal diseases, had regrown whole limbs and artificially created tissue from blood samples, and most notably mastered a process for detecting abnormalities in babies and correcting them while still in the womb.
Now they were openly asking for volunteer test subjects. Valerie was a smart woman, and she guessed this was something big.
She got dressed, hopped in her car, and started driving.
