Valerie was so excited for her cash, that she almost got a speeding ticket from a pudgy cop.
"I wonder they're working on. Maybe they'll have me take a few pills or something simple like that." Valerie said' talking to herself.
"I feel weird talking to myself. If only someone was here with me..." She gave a sigh and parked. She walked in and saw a reception desk. A petit woman wearing glasses was working on some paperwork.
Hi, I saw the ad in the paper and..." Valerie said, greeting the woman.
"Oh, hello. Just go through that door, right there." The woman said, pointing to a door, labeled by bronze placard saying "Doctor Ready"
Valerie walked in and saw an average heighted man wearing a surgery mask and a doctor's gown. His mask moved as he smiled.
"Hi. Just sit down here and I'm going to ask you some questions." He said. Valerie did so courteously and kindly because everyone at the facility had only been nice to her.
"What kind of questions do you have?" Valerie asked.
"Well, we need to determine which procedure you'll like or prefer the most." The doctor said. Valerie looked at him, quizzically.
"Procedure? Like surgery?" He gave her a comforting mask movement.
"No. No surgery is nessecary. We have come up with a line of pills, or liquids, depending on the patiet's preference, that can actually transform people to give certain looks. We have been able to regrow lost body parts, of say war veterans. But now, we can actually give the veteran his old arm, and if he wants a new set of arms. That way if he is young enough, and he wants to continue his service, he can do so with four arms." He explained. Valerie gave him a look of amazement.
"Thats amazing. You want me to test one of these pills?" She asked.
"Precisely. Now to the questions: Do you often feel loneliness, especially in the home or in a car?" Valerie remembered what she said in the car.
"Yes. I talk to my self, too. I don't know if that helps you or not."
