Caitlyn sat in her mother’s car outside a car dealership opening, which Funzo T. Clown was
performing at. Caitlyn’s mother Alice was in the crowd watching Funzo looking for an
opportunity to talk to him. Finally it seemed Funzo was done for the day and Alice
followed him. Funzo seemed to be heading towards a bus stop.
“Excuse me Funzo? My name is Alice, and I’d like to talk to you,” Alice introduced herself.
“Sorry, hyuck, lady. I don’t do autographs,” Funzo said over his shoulder.
“I don’t want an autograph, sir. I want to introduce you to someone.”
“No thanks.”
“”Please, I’ll even give you a ride home.”
Funzo hesitated. He didn’t want to take the bus and get stared at again, but he didn’t want
to meet anyone either. In the end he decided it was worth meeting someone if he didn’t
have to be stared at by fifty strangers.
“Okay…” Funzo said defeated.
Alice and Funzo walked to Alice’s car and got in the front seats. “Funzo this is my
daughter Caitlyn,” Alice motioned to the back seat. Funzo slowly turned around extending
his hand when he saw Caitlyn for the first time. His eyes went wide with surprise.
“You’re…you’re a clown like me,” Funzo whispered in quiet awe.
Caitlyn grabbed Funzo’s hand and gave it a quick shake. “Yep, and my mom and me want
to talk to you about that.”
“Yes Funzo, would you mind coming back to our home or would you still like me to drive
you home?” Alice asked.
