It wasn't easy, but you got your girlfriend back to your house. Your parents were out of town for the weekend which meant you wouldn't have to explain anything for another day or two at least.
You put Molly down on the living room couch and got a blanket for her. She seemed to concious, just sleeping. Maybe you should take her to the hospital? But she seemed okay now and with the adreneline wearing off you felt exhausted. For a short time you watch Molly sleep from the adjacent chair, but soon nod off yourself.
---
You awake the next morning to find the couch empty. You bolt out of your chair, feeling paniced. Then you hear noise from the kitchen.
"Molly?" you ask.
"In the kitchen" she confirms.
You walk in to find Molly cooking some eggs like it was a normal day.
You put your arms around her and give her a big hug. "How do you feel?"
"Hungry. But okay." A moment later, she idly scratches her leg. After scooping the scrambled eggs out of the pan and onto a plate, she scratches her leg again. "My leg itches where they injected me though."
"May I take a look?"
Molly nods and begins shoveling egg into her mouth. Hunger isn't unusual for someone who hasn't eaten in almost a day. You bend down to examine Molly's leg. You try to stay focused on her injury and not just examining her legs for their attractiveness, especially since she's wearing no pants just your shirt which hangs down to her thighs.
Sure enough, the skin around the injection spot is red and dry. Some of it even appears to be peeling like a sunburn. Then you notice something really odd. Peeling away a flake of dry dead skin, you reveal a small spot a different color than Molly's skin. You run your finger over it and it doesn't feel like human skin. Instead it reminds you of something you once felt at the zoo.
Molly shivers when run your finger over the spot. "What is it, George?"
"Molly...I think you're growing snake scales..."
