A door to my right unlatched with a horrific metal clank and my gaze shot towards the noise in horror. Bright light from a concrete hallway made me wince for a moment as the dark figure of a man approached.
The figure moved towards my bed and in the dark of my room I managed to make out a male. In his late 50's perhaps, slightly hunched over, and wearing a white lab coat. His balding hair was gray and his eyes sunken and dark. He smiled. "Ah..." He chuckled, his voice gravelly and high pitched. Perhaps with a hint of an accent. "You're awake, my dear. Excellent."
"Who are you?" I demanded. "Why have you kidnapped me? Why am I naked?! What the fuck is going on!?"
He held his liver spotted finger to his lips and shook his head. "Silence, darling. All questions will be answered... in the fullness of time. Relax. My nurses will take you to the experimentation room. Cooperation would be in your best interest now."
With that, he turned to leave, and I found myself tearing against my restraints with no purchase. The doctor - for that's what he looked like - waved down the hallway and I heard heavy footsteps coming towards me as he walked out of my sight.
I screamed again as two monstrous apparitions entered the room dressed in blue surgical garb. They approached either side of the bed and I was able to make out two impossible horrible creatures, each a blend of animal of human qualities. A tall feral hyena woman and a truly massive rhinoceros woman. Both of their bestial eyes regarded me without emotion - they only exchanged grinning looks to each other - and in a moment they began working my restraints. I was too horrified to move, studying each creature with a mix of revulsion and fear.
The female hyena stared at me with pure white pupils, grinning with sharp canines. "Relax..." She growled, in a gruff but feminine voice. "Soon the Doc's gonna make you one of us, honey." She chuckled suddenly as the rhino grabbed my legs, an unsettling high pitched whine, and I laid back and cringed.
"N-No." I said softly. "Please. Don't do this! I have a family... I-I have a..."
"Don't resist." The rhino said sternly, her voice deep baritone. "Don't wanna have to hurt you, lady."
"Yeah." The hyena laughed, grabbing me by the shoulders as the rhino freed my legs and forcing me to sit. "Hurtcha."
They both grabbed an arm and hoisted me to my feet. The feeling of the bristling fur on one side of me and the pebbly hide on the other made me shiver. I simply couldn't process what was happening.
They wound up dragging me with no effort, pulling me out of the room and down a long gray corridor with hanging lamps overhead. "What's going to happen to me?!" I finally cried, seeing we were approaching a closed metal door with heavy locks and rivets.
"Told you." The hyena giggled. "One of us, soon."
The rhino chuffled. "One of us, yeah." She then banged a meaty hand on the door twice. A tiny slit opened near eye level and a pair of yellow cat's eyes peered out.
"New arrival!" The Hyena giggled.
The door swung open and I found myself staring at a buff orange and black tigress clad in only the fur God gave her. "N-No!" I screamed. "Please! Don't hurt me!"
The tigress, unlike my previous hosts, had no such patience for dialogue. I felt her hands on my shoulders as I heard the door close behind me and slam shut.
The tigress slid a heavy metal lock into place and then faced me. I was inches away from her face.
"Good. Fresh meat." She purred.
