MM, narrating: No aspect of culture has been more changed since the great change than religion. The patriarchal, Abrahamic religions--Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Mormonism--faced an immense crisis of explanation, but so did scientific atheism. Noone knows how humanity's religious life will ultimately be reshaped, although so far the major gainers seem to be Buddhism and Wicca. We talked to one of the world's remaining Christians, Maria Kratowski, a changed woman.
Our church believes that God took away manhood for a reason. It's like the flood, God is punishing us, and specifically punishing men, for our sins. Our one hope is repentance and prayer.
MM: What were you before the change?
MK: I don't think that's important, but I was a bad man. I thank God for having chosen this way to bring me to repentance and humility. LIke many men, I abused women, and this is how God chose to punish me. Pride, I think, is the main sin for which we were punished. To be honest, I was a politician. I pretended to be a good Christian and in reality I was taking bribes and having affairs.
MM: Part of the change involved making everyone gay. How do you explain that?
MK: Part of God's punishment was giving us over to the Devil. It's the Devil who gives us these sinful thoughts and desires. We must resist them if manhood is to be restored.
MM: A whole new generation is growing up, raised by female families. How can you convince them women loving each other, which they have known all their lives, is somehow evil? Will people who hever seen a live man pray for the "return of manhood."?
MK: I don't know.
MM, narrating: Ms. Kratowski's congregation contains twelve women.
