Bartlesby eyes grew wide and then he quickly put the wand on the dashboard. Dylan moved as if he was going after the wand but Bartlesby
said, "Don't touch that thing."
Dylan asked, "You know how to us it?"
Bartlesby said, "Yes, but the wand is designed to curse. It always tries to misinterpret whatever is said or wish for so that people get something
they don't want. It can be used to help us out of this situation but only if we are very careful. The slightest mistake in our words or our wishes
and the wand will work against us."
Dylan asked, "So what do we do?"
Bartlesby said, "First, explain to me how we got into this mess. I assume the stuff in the truck used to be other people, right?
Dylan said, "Alright, but first can you let me move away from your giant cock?"
Bartlesby laughed, "I'm afraid that won't work. When I wished for a place to hide, I had worded it in such a way that we are all stuck staying
where we are until we understand our situation. So at least until you explain how we got into this mess, none of us can move from where we
are."
So Dylan began explaining.
Dylan started by explaining how he had gone to meet with Ken and looked for Ken in Jeremy's room but instead of finding either Ken or Jeremy,
he found a stuffed pitbull, a canvas bag full of new uniforms and gear, and a mannequin that looked like Dylan.
Then Dylan told the stories of how Willie turned into a tackle dummy; Troy, the offensive lineman, had turned into a purple, see-through toy
ball; Ben had turned into a cutout of the Hulk; Thad had turned into an inflatable bottle of beer; Pro had turned into a tiny porcelain gym bag;
John had turned into a tiny porcelain figurine of himself; the truck had turned into a monster truck; and Sheriff Bartlesby had transformed
temporarily into netting before becoming a naked giant. (There were several contradictions in the previous chapters that needed to be fixed
and these are the best fixes I can come up with.)

Meanwhile, Kurt and Kevin had gone looking for Ken. The found the tv in Jeremy's room and figured out that the tv was still broadcasting Ken's
thoughts.
Kurt asked, "Where are you?"
Ken couldn't answer. The tv only broadcast his thoughts so it did not give Ken the ability to hear Kurt's question in the first place. Besides, Ken
was in such a sleepy, dream-like state that what he said didn't make much sense. But Ken said enough that Kurt and Kevin were beginning to
understand what had happened to Ken. They needed to find him.
