Josh didn't have to wait very long. In fact, it hadn't even been five minutes before he became separated from his brother. He wanted to shout in excitement, but he knew he couldn't wake Kyle if his plan was going to work.
He cautiously climbed out of bed, and tip-toed out of the bedroom, and it wasn't until he came down the stairs that he started to laugh. However, it was quickly interrupted by a the doorbell. Josh quickly opened and door, hoping whoever was there wouldn't ring again, and that Kyle was still asleep upstairs. "Can I help you?"
"Can I come in?" Jake asked with a blank expression, and glazed eyes. He was the little boy that lived next door, but neither Kyle nor Josh knew anything about him. He looked about twelve years old, and Josh had no idea why he would want to come in, he had never really even seen this kid before. But just as he was about to close the door, Josh saw the eagle chain sitting around Jake's neck.
Josh doubled over with laughter, "Haha, ya! Sure! Com' on in!" Jake entered and glanced around with the same blank look. "Here I'll show you where to go. He's upstairs." Josh lead the way up the stairs and to his room, all the while holding his sides, trying not to burst. He opened his door, and there was Kyle still sound asleep on his bed. With out hesitation, Jake walked over, and laid down beside Kyle. With in seconds, the pair had become fused together as a two headed twelve and seventeen year old. Josh was about to flick on the light when he got another idea. He raced over and took both halves of the eagle chain, and slipped them into his pocket. Now, Kyle and this kid would be stuck together until someone else wore the chains, and Josh wasn't going to let that happen anytime soon.
He couldn't keep it in once he reached the door. He turned on the light and started to laugh.
The glazed look faded from Jake's eyes, and kyle came awake, "What the hell? Josh what's going on. Wait... Why aren't we fused?!" Kyle looked over and saw the horror in Jake's eyes. Without thinking, he pushed away from the small boy, and they fell out of bed, tangled in the blanket. At which point, Josh fell to the ground, literally rolling with laughter as he watched Kyle struggle to get unwrapped, and Jake frantically trying to get away from the person he was no fused with. "Josh! What did you do! I'm gonna kill you, you asshole!" Kyle had manged to get himself and Jake out of the blanket, and was worming his way toward Josh, with the one arm and leg that he controlled. Jake was still trying to push and pull himself away, screaming all the while. "Shut up!"
"Dad! Mom! Kevin! Someone help me!" Jake was yelling with tears running down his face. "I'm scared! Help!"
Kyle glared at his older brother, who, in turn, revealed the two eagle chains, and put them back in his pocket before walking out of the room. "Good luck..... LITTLE brother.... Hahahaha!"
