"Well, I always wanted to be a superhero," said John.
"Ah, yes, I love superheroes. I used to read them at my master's house. But which superhero did you want to be? Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, Captain Marvel?"
"Umm, I was thinking something like Superman myself. I've always wanted to fly," replied John.
"On the upside, I think you already have your alter-ego well established," said the Genie.
"True," replied John.
"All that's left is to make the wish my young friend."
"Genie, I wish I was a superhero like Superman, with all his powers and his costume, with the royal blue tights, the red boots and the long red cape," said John.
"Granted," replied the Genie.
John gasped as he felt his muscles swell and grow until he looked positively ripped, with well defined pectoral and bicep muscles. His leg muscles also grew respectively.
"Wow, thanks, I forgot to wish for these, he said, flexing his new muscles," said John.
"Gotta make sure you look good in those tights, right?" said Genie with a smile.
Suddenly, John was enveloped in a bright, white light. And just as quickly, it disappeared, leaving John standing in the middle of his living room, his clothing replaced by the Superman costume.
John looked himself over in the outfit, amazed at how good it looked.
"This is amazing, it's just as how I always imagined it would look," said John.
"Why don't you take it for a test flight?" asked the Genie.
"Hey, yeah, I should," said John. He walked out into his backyard, thinking how exactly this would work. He decided to try the simplest idea first and knelt down and pushed off of the ground. That was all it took and he was hovering in the air. John couldn't help but start laughing from the excitement of it all. He turned and started flying faster, just by will alone as he flew over the houses, his cape rustling behind him. He saw people look up from the streets below, pointing, telling others they couldn't believe it. John just waved to them, still smiling.
This is going to be so much fun, thought John.
