Once again, Jennifer felt the all too familiar tingling sensation. But this time, it eminated from her feet.
"Oh no," she gasped as she looked down at her feet. "What's happening now?"
Both girl's eyes bulged at the site of Jennifer's feet as they began to reform. Her neatly manicured toe nails turned black in color and began to grow up over her
toes.
The sudden realignment of the bones her feet caused Jennifer to tumble to the ground with a thud, her udder flopping comically from the impact.
As Jennifer looked back at her feet, all she saw were the hooves of a cow.
"Are you okay?" Susan asked with a tremble in her voice.
"I think I'm pretty far from okay right now," Jennifer said as she struggled to get up. "Gimme a hand."
Susan helped her rapidly transforming friend into an unstable standing position. "Maybe you should sit down before you fall again," Susan said as she helped
Jennifer to the bed.
"What am I gonna do?" Jennifer asked as she lifted her new hooves into the air. "At this rate, I'll be a cow in less than an hour."
Susan thought for a second before answering, "Let me see if I have this right. Kyle called you up and said Transform or...you know. You say "Transform" and now
the curse is on you. If I remember the legend correctly, you now have to pass the curse on to someone else and then that person passes it on."
"That's the way I heard it too," Jennifer said as she moved her udder into a more comfortable position. Her udder was getting heavier and more uncomfortable
every minute.
"I have an idea," Susan said as she paced back and forth. "You pass the curse on to me. Then I ask you. You say "Transform" and then I turn you back to normal.
What do you think?"
For the first time since the dreaded phone call from Kyle, Jennifer smiled. "That might do it. Okay Susan, Transform or Dare?"
