“Hello, this is ‘Kennel for a day’, Sarah speaking” Sarah hears someone clearing his throat. “Um… Hi, my name is Dave. I don’t know if you remember me, but I bought a Leonberger puppy from you a couple of months ago and…” The man is interrupted by a loud crash in the background. “…And well… she’s quite disobedient and we have tried everything” The man now sounds almost pleading. “We’re really sorry for calling this early, but my wife and I are really desperate for advice” Sarah tries to sound surprised, as this has happened a couple of times before. “Oh, that’s never happened before… But don’t worry… just take the puppy here to the kennel, and I’ll try to help you with some tips” The man begins to sound a pessimistic to the idea. “Well I don’t know…” But as Sarah knows how to convince people she adds “It’s free of charge” Suddenly the man’s pessimism disappears as if blown away by the wind. “We’ll be there. Is it okay if we come by noon? And is it okay if we take our son with us?” Sarah smiles “Of course” The man on the other line sounds relieved “Good, see you then. Bye”
“Bye” Sarah puts the phone down “I’ve got to stop breeding changed humans with changed humans…” She mutters to herself and walks out to the kennel corridor again and looks at the German Shepard bitch who is now busy feeding her pups. Sarah smiles again “Hopefully, your natural born dog husband will make you puppies more obedient then those who have been born by two ex. Humans parents” The bitch pants contentedly and nuzzles her puppies while her mate still sleeps deeply.
