Liam smiled as he watched his reflection. His wetsuit was all wiggling as Conner prepared to change while
still being worn. He shifted first to flesh tone and then it looked for a moment or two like Liam was naked
but covered with molasses. Except this molasses was moving it seemed to be struggling with itself and with
Liam's body. Then suddenly it swept up over Liam's face and head totally enveloping him. Then Liam felt his
body being forced into a pose identical to the mannequin he had touched. Conner stopped moving and became
stiff and hard. Just before he totally solidified sealing Liam in darkness, Liam could see that Conner was
transforming into a mannequin around Liam.
Conner, change back now! Liam's panicked mind screamed.
Later, was the exhausted reply from Conner, need to rest first.
It was at this moment that someone knocked on the changing room door.
"Hey, is anybody in there?"
"I can see feet under the door," another voice said.
"Hm? No, look - it's a mannequin. Those aren't real feet," the voice said opening the door, "Dang, kids,
probably moved him in here as a joke. Let me get him out of the way, and you can try on those board shorts."
The clerk grunted as he dragged the mannequin encased Liam out of the changing room. He commented, "This is a
heavy one," he paused as he looked across the store at the mannequin Liam had touched, and added, "I didn't
know we had an extra one. Hm, that gives me an idea."
He dragged Liam and Conner into the back room workshop where the store made custom fiberglass surfboards.
"Hey, Mark, I got a great idea for the new window display - we'll coat this mannequin in fiberglass and make
human-surfboard!"
Liam could hear the muffled voices and the sound of the spray hitting his mannequin shell. Conner could see
and feel the cold foam as it coated, congealed, heated up and sealed him into the mannequin form. He tried to
change, but he was still too weak. He didn't to recover, perhaps even encased in fiberglass he would be able
to change to break free.
The finished product was up in the window just before closing time. Conner's mannequin face was only half
covered with fiberglass - sort of like the Phantom of the Opera. His body looked like a surfboard had melted
to it. The matching real surfboard was posed next to him. The store's new ad slogan proclaimed from the sign
by his shiny fiberglass coated feet, "Get Into Surfing! Custom Gear! Sold Here!"
