(from the perspective of "The Follower")
In all his years of traveling, he had never seen a sight like the one that had just occurred. A man, a HUMAN man to be more accurate, had just appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the sky, and fell on top of that poor man's house. Surprisingly, the man did not end up in the living quarters of the domicile, or even worse, on a kitchen table during the midday meal. What was even more surprising, this man did not appear injured in the slightest after his tumble from quite literally 'out of the blue'.
Then all at once, there was a shout. The man appeared to be gathering his bearings when the onlooker was startled into looking to the source of the shout. So did this mystery flying man. Apparently, the owner of the home had come out, probably having heard the SMACK and tumble of the man hitting his roof, and was ordering him to come down from there. As if that wasn't enough, the man simply leapt from the roof to the ground, and again appeared to be unharmed!
Perplexed by this rather strange series of events, he decided this strange human was worth investigating. Things were not as they seemed with this one. Some distance behind, he covered his head with his hood and fell in line a good forty feet behind this mystery man, intent to discover his secret. Oh no, he turned and looked back at him! Right at him. He appeared as best as he could not to be startled and as if he was not following the man. Man? This was no man. This was a boy. Sure, he was no child, but he was no man, either. Perhaps that explained some of his resilience, if he was more of an adolescent?
Questions, questions. So many questions! Well, enough of that, the answers would come soon enough. He need not worry about that. He would get answers, if he had to pull them from his brain. He looked around to be sure he was not being followed, and that he was the only one following the mystery man. He must be patient, and get this human alone...
