"Fine" You announce through clenched teeth, worry and fear buckling at the back of your mind.
A euphoric feeling made itself known in your mind, you could almost see a shadowy figure do a black flip in your minds eye. *Thank you, thank you so much!! My chamber isn't too far down the hall. Ill use whats left in my power to light the way for you. All you have to do is push against the door when you find it.*
When the voice finished, a flash of blue light painted the hall walls. In the center you could see a small floating fire ball, bouncing back and forth waiting for you to follow it. *Don't worry about your classmates.* The voice assured. *Once the Monks regain control of the temple, they will recall the elevator back to the top and cleanse everyone of any demon trace. Luckily for me and you we will already be long gone from this place. Now hurry! I don't know how long my evil brothers will keep the monks at bay.*
With a hesitant step you carefully step over everyone's body and begin to slowly ease your way into and through the hall. As you venture further into the cavern, the floating fire ball above you follows at a close clip. Not even a minute passes before the cavern begins to widen out into a small chamber. Once you enter the fire ball floats to the opposite side. Illuminating it with its light stands a grand and massive door. It gleams in the firelight, the doors being made of thick white marble. "You expect me to move this?" You as in disbelief as your hand touches the creepily cold stone door.
*Its lighter than you think. And with the wards gone it shouldn't give you much trouble... say can you explain to me what you look like?*
You give out a small smug smile, crossing your arms over your chest as you do so. "What, you can speak in my mind and read my thoughts, but you don't know what I look like?"
The voice replies in a small, but stubborn voice. *All I can do is read your thoughts. I can't see anything past what you think. Anyway just tell me as your opening the door! We don't have much time left.*
