Although Bara did not have Dana's extensive experience with the world of chaos as a messenger, diplomat and spy, she had made brief visits in search of visual inspiration. She recognized where she was, and knew it was a very dangerous place. Rescuing Astara would have to take a back seat to simple survival for the present.
She remembered a conversation she had had with Dana about the world of chaos, where the future princess had advised her not to try to force things, but let the world shape itself around where you wanted to go. Following one's intuitions was important, and Bara felt hers tell her to spread her wings and ride the currents.
