Wellyoung Master Patrick's surname happenned to be Whelan and he
was heir to Whelan &Sons,makers of fine magical rejuvenation
potions since 1709.And as the company bottles say on their labels
"It smealls awful,and it works"
Which is something Angela Parker and her partner in shilling
squares Samuel "Sharkey" Barrow learned back in 1934 when the unfortunate
demise of their niece and nephew Bonnie and Clyde convinced the two aging
con artists to seek a new profession.
They bought a run down magic shop in 1936 from a Old Man getting out of the
business,had discovered most of the shops contents was worthless unmagical
garbage,except for the bottles of Whelans Extreme Rejuvenator ( and carbureutor
cleaner )"which smelt awful but worked"
Hence why they were youthful looking and running a Magic Shop in 2011.
( Their aliveness they owed to the fact Angela had accidental poured a
bottle of Whelans Rejuvenator into the couples old flivver,just before
the G men had been about to ambush them on a back country Oklahoma road
back in 1938.
And in strolls young Patrick Whelan with a company debit card...
