A thought formed in Sam's head. She knew it was a selfish thought. She knew it was perhaps a cruel thought. She knew that perhaps it was
signs of her guilt causing her to go mad. But she realized a way she could insure that she and her sisters weren't seen as freak and that
civilization had enough reason to provide infrastructure for a couple of animal people.
She set about programming the remote, setting up a slightly tricky command to erase the target's human template after use save for hers and
her sister's for a very particular transformation.
She then looked at the doctor with Trish and her kits. She made doubly sure the changes in people's perception was set to allow for only
herself to notice. She took aim and clicked. In a moment the doctor was still wearing his coat, but was now wearing sandals, and his legs were
bare, his ID now showed the skunk man he was now, his coat now having an opening for his tail. He instantly began speaking of Trish's state
with more experience. Sam then aimed at the Nurse he was talking to and used the remote again. The new skunk nurse who had been a blond
now had black and white 'head fur' with a mostly traditional skunk pattern on her body save for a white cross ironically on her back. She also
was now wearing sandals and besides her hat and nurse's apron she wasn't wearing much of anything. She still looked uncomfortable wearing
what she was save for her uniform. Wearing a built in fur coat over clothes wasn't pleasant unless you lived in a frigid climate.
'Not enough of us to appeal the nudity taboo. Not yet.' Sam thought. She saw a woman and husband talking with their son about getting his
infected tonsils out. She decided to try a little experiment. The remote didn't allow her to change the DNA of newborn life directly, but at the
same time with the settings on it didn't allow for paradoxes.
She used the remote on the mother first, becoming a rather beautiful skunk woman with a black and white swirl mark on her back. The boy, as
Sam suspected, instantly became like Trish's children. Half-skunk, half-primate. She then aimed the remote at the father next, and in a
moment he joined his wife in skunkhood, though they didn't remember being anything else. The chat between family didn't miss a beat as the
boy become one hundred percent skunk person wearing just sandals and shorts.
Sam smiled to herself, 'I don't know what the battery life if any this remote has, or what other limits it might have, but I'll build a world for us
sis', even if it's one skunkette at a time.'
