Jake watches as most of the boys who had actually been paying attention got off the
boat. He and Dean, however, stayed on and the boat took them along with the few
remaining boys on an hour long trip to said amusement park. It was a large park set
on an island at least the size of New York City. As the boat docked, the man in red
called each one individually by name. Jake thought this strange since they hadn't given
their names, but shrugged it off.
"Jacob Turnstill!"
Jake jumped from his thoughts and went over to the man. Up close, the man looked
like a beardless Santa his white hair long and curly.
"Okay, son, you've been assigned to work at Club Merah. This bag," he said, handing
Jake a brown duffel bag that felt heavier than it looked, "Contains everything you will
need for your stay. There is a map at the end of the dock there. Good luck!"
He pushed Jake towards the dock and the teenage boy took the hint. He looked at the
enormous island ahead of him and was glad he hadn't told his parents. What parent in
their right mind would let their 15-year-old son roam an island full of strangers for a
weekend?
He found the map and used it to locate Club Merah. It wasn't too far from the dock! He
lugged the bag along as he made his way towards the club.
Club Merah turned out to be in a seedy-looking part of the island. It was a large
building, but the entrance lay down a dark alley. Jake gulped down his fear and
walked up to the door to knock.
"Welcome to Club Merah!" came a happy voice as the door opened to reveal a boy
around Jake's age. However, the boy was wearing only a pink thong with matching
pink bunny ears and tail. "Oh, you must be the new recruit! Come on in!"
Before Jake could object, the boy drug him into the building while the door closed
behind them. Inside was a bar-like setup but with plush decorations and low tables.
The boy led him through a door in the back of the room next to the bar and into a long
hallway. From there, they went into a room with two bunk beds. On the one to the right
sat two boys similarly dressed to the bunny boy. The one on the bottom was in an
orange thong with fox ears and tail while the one on top had a black thong with
panther ears and tail.
"Okay, new guy," the bunny boy said, "You can take the bottom, 'cause the top is
mine. I'm Lago, that's Fennec," he pointed to the fox. "And that's Onca," he referred to
the panther boy. "What's your name?"
"Uh, Jake. But what are..."
"It's all explained in your bag. I've been doing this for three years now, I'm 16. Fennec
and Onca both started last year. Oh, and these aren't our real names. They're our
nicknames while we're on the island. You'll get one, too, depending on what animal
you get."
"I have to dress like that, too?"
"Yep," Fennec jumped in, "But it's fun and they pay us out the wazoo! I got $3,000 a
night last year and they pay more for return workers!"
Jake thought $9,000 for a weekend at work sounded like a good deal, even if he did
have to dress weird. He set his bag on the bottom left bunk and opened it up. Inside
were two pillows, a sleeping bag, a smaller bag labeled "Outfit", and a vial of a clear
liquid with directions.
"Just follow the directions and you'll have an awesome weekend!" Lago said. "We'll
leave you alone for your first change."
Well that's nice of them to let me change clothes in private, Jake thought. He then
took the directions and read them carefully.
Dear Employee;
We at Pleasure Island thank you for giving up your weekend to help us. The nature of
this island is to help people realize their biggest fantasies, so please keep this in mind
during your stay. Since you have been determined a good choice for Club Merah, you
will be required to wear your outfit at ALL TIMES. Please take the vial AFTER you
have put on your uniform. There are changes of thongs in the bag, but the rest will
stay with you throughout the weekend. We have determined the best animal for you to
become, so try to get into the spirit your animal would have. Do not be alarmed if the
outfit feels weird at first. It is natural and will go away soon. By the end of today, it will
feel like a part of you. You will be briefed on your job requirements before work
tomorrow. Good luck!
Sincerely,
The Management.
