Hello! Welcome to Part III!
In this chapter, Elana, the Council, and I head for the mysterious Mount Onyx. What mysteries lie in store for us, as we try to set up an outpost on Onyx, to finally deal with the werewolves' arch-enemy, the Salamanders. Plus, we introduce two new characters, later in the chapter!
Pack your repellant, cuz here we go!
As I'm starting to pack everything up for the trip, I think of what I could do to help in their cause.
This freakin' necklace was the cause of this whole fucking mess, and I instantly think, werewolves can spread this curse just by biting things! Just then, I get a weird feeling in my lungs, like a gas is developing inside me, like a limitless supply of air that I never have to breathe out for. I think its nothing, and I continue to pack, like nothing had ever happened. God this gas is annoying my lungs... Elana yells out saying,
"Hollis! Are you almost ready to go?"
I reply,
"Almost, just gotta get a few more things."
"Well, hurry it up! We're all almost ready to go!" She nags.
*Jesus, never knew she was this impatient...* I secretly pack a couple of capsules, and blow into them just for fun. The gas that had developed inside my lungs had filled all the capsules, and I was ready to go!
I bolt out of the forest to the council's packing point.
"All right! Is everyone ready to go?" Alice asked.
We all reply with a straightforward, "Yes, Ma'am."
"Well then, off to Mount Onyx!"
"Hey, wait! Climb on, I can get us there in no time flat, so long as you give me directions..." I suggest, scratching the back of my head.
They all say, "Ok, sure!" Everyone climbs on my back, and we're ready to head for Mount Onyx.
-------------------------------------------A-HALF-AN-HOUR-LATER---------------------------------------------
After a half an hour, we arrive at the 2,500 foot mark at the base of Mount Onyx.
"This looks like a great place to set up our outpost!" Troy says happily.
"Don't count on it yet, everybody," I say, "We've got three salamanders coming east at 150 MPH. We must flee higher up." Everyone grabs everything and climbs on to my back, as I wait patiently for the salamanders to arrive.
*Come on... Closer... Closer.......... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND, NOW!* "Let's get out of here!" I exclaim. I throw one of my capsules down at the ground and flee higher up. The capsule blows, and the gas inside was released.
"Gas bomb! Nice going, for a nice getaway!" Nathaniel says.
"Oh, this isn't just any ordinary smoke bomb... Keep watching." They all keep watching as the salamanders start coughing and breathing in the gas, therefore beginning to change them into werewolves. Their scales fall off and grow massive amounts of fur all over their bodies. Their tails start to grow 5 feet longer, as their muscles grow to phenomenal proportions. Their legs start growing bigger and bigger by the second as they stand almost as tall as me. They all fall down on their stomachs, almost unconscious. They wake up, and bow before the ones who freed them from their reptilian forms, to give them new meaning.
"What are your names, new werewolves?" I ask rhetorically.
"My name is Bashil."

"Bashil and Randall. Join our group if you want to live. My friends and I will offer you a life, to make this world of our species. If you accept, you will nod your heads and rise before your master. Failure to comply, and I will rip out your hearts and show them right to your faces. Live or die. Your choice." I proposed.
They nodded their heads, and rose.
"Good. Now follow us."
We leave and they followed obediently, without missing a pace! I was surprised... Who knew two new werewolves would keep up with us while still trying to regain their strength! Not me...
